NORTH WARANDYTE

The home owners purchased this property in the beautiful rural suburb of North Warrandyte in 2020. Set high on a hill, the rear of the property overlooks the natural bush of the state forest and the Yarra River. To maximise the incredible views I was asked to help re-design the back garden.
The focal point, and major change to the garden layout, is the addition of a raised hardwood timber deck with breakfast bar. Located at the apex of the garden in the south east corner, this deck will provide the ideal viewing platform for the home owners to relax and appreciate the bush setting and the Yarra river below. Native shrubs and ground cover will compliment the indigenous native bush setting of the property.
A concept drawing, written description, mood board and detailed working plans with planting schedule were supplied to the client. On-going consulation will be provided during the landscape construction process.
